With recent advances in long-read sequencing technology, it will finally become possible to sequence and assemble the giant genomes of Dutch tulips. These images show an assembly graph of a complex yeast genome, based on Oxford Nanopore sequencing. Colours indicate differences in coverage. As the tulip genome is approximately 25000x larger than this yeast genome, it unfortunately did not fit on the t-shirt ;-)
This is an indication of the T-shirt design, the final design can be a little different.
