Conference T-shirt

ECCB 2016 T-shirts can be ordered during the registration process at the price of €15,00. If you already registered but would really fancy this shirt, you can always add it to your existing registration by clicking the “Modify Registration” link stated in the confirmation e-mail that is sent to you after finishing your registration. T-shirts can only be guaranteed until August 3rd. (23h59 in the time zone of your choice)

With recent advances in long-read sequencing technology, it will finally become possible to sequence and assemble the giant genomes of Dutch tulips. These images show an assembly graph of a complex yeast genome, based on Oxford Nanopore sequencing. Colours indicate differences in coverage. As the tulip genome is approximately 25000x larger than this yeast genome, it unfortunately did not fit on the t-shirt ;-)
